XML for the Web

XML is a complement to HTML. In most web applications, XML is used to transport data, while HTML is used to format and display the data. This course provides an overview to that XML landscape and is geared to non technical, business people with some understanding of HTML, JavaScript and Java. In this course you gain an understanding of XML and its relationship to Common Gateway Interface (CGI), HTML, JavaScript, and Java. XML extends the markup capabilities of HTML and offers a powerful edge to web developers that you must acquire.
